Andreea Gulerez
As Project Design Lead at HOK, Andreea works directly with the Principal in charge of design and senior leadership to further design quality and deliver compelling client presentations. She has been instrumental in the visioning and design of the Wadsworth Public Health Laboratory for the New York State Department of Health.
Beyond project execution, Andreea actively champions the implementation of innovative design tools in the office, including but not limited to AI, while fostering a culture of mentorship and inclusivity.
In the U.S., she has worked on multiple Google projects, including Workplace buildings in the bay area, John Hopkins Student Center, Cornell Tech EEC + hotel, and Grace Farms auditorium among many others. Her international work spans Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Strong academic design grounding, alongside working with some of the industry's most talented architects, honed her skills in crafting forward-thinking, context-sensitive solutions that shape the future of architectural design.
Her personal work has been published widely in the Places Journal, Montreal-based Scrivener Creative Review and Folio, and the Cornell Journal of Architecture.
Andreea Gulerez, AIA, NCARB received her Master’s from Cornell University and Bachelor’s from McGill University. She is a Registered Architect in NY and NJ, and a Professional Women in Construction Ambassador.
