Amy Schaap is a dedicated VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Engineer at Turner Construction. Amy pushes boundaries, not only in terms of innovative construction practices but also in promoting a vision of a built environment that respects and integrates with the natural world. Her commitment to sustainability, coupled with her dedication to community and her global perspective shaped by her South African roots, sets her apart as a forward-thinking professional working towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.

Driven by a commitment to community engagement, Amy actively volunteers, leveraging her skills for positive impact. She is the lead of two ERGs at Turner, an ACE Mentor and holds her LEED Green Associate certificate. Amy is a proud Wesleyan University graduate with a degree in Biology and Studio Art: Architecture, and a minor in Integrated Design, Engineering, and Applied Sciences. Her diverse academic background reflects a passion for harmonizing the built and natural worlds.
