Alison N. Landry, AIA, is committed to public sector leadership that shapes more equitable, resilient, and dynamic urban environments.  In her current role as an Assistant Commissioner for Design Build at the New York City Department of Design and Construction, she manages the strategic implementation of alternative project delivery for the Public Buildings division.  As part of the city’s Covid-19 emergency response, Alison led a team that built critical healthcare facilities including temporary hospitals and post-acute covid primary care clinics.  She leads a Design-Build pilot program with projects including recreation centers in Flatbush, Brooklyn, and the Staten Island North Shore, a greenhouse and agricultural education center for The Campaign Against Hunger at the NYCHA Marlboro Houses in Brooklyn, and Parks Department maintenance and operations facilities at Orchard Beach in the Bronx and Rockaway Beach in Queens.  Alison was previously Vice President for the Capital Program at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and before that worked as an Associate at Handel Architects.  Prior to moving to New York, she lived in New Orleans, supporting post-Katrina recovery efforts through research, design, and advocacy.  Alison received her Masters in Architecture from Tulane University and is a Registered Architect in the State of New York.
