Ahmed Tigani is HPD’s First Deputy Commissioner, where he leads critical operations across the entire agency, including Neighborhood Strategies, Housing Access and Stability, Finance and Administration and Compliance and Risk Management. As a trusted leader at HPD, Ahmed drives collaboration across divisions, ensures strategic alignment of agency priorities, and forges high-impact partnerships with other agencies and key stakeholders to advance the city’s housing agenda. Ahmed holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Urban Planning from CUNY-Hunter College.
