Professional Women in Construction (PWC) ended the year with its annual holiday party on December 10th at Bryant Park Grill. The event featured “20 women under 40” that were honored for their early professional achievements. PWC members and supporters gathered to celebrate these women and further the shared mission of empowering women and promoting diversity in the construction industry. The success of the event was representative of the tremendous growth PWC New York has experienced in 2019, with an increase of over 40% in membership. In 2019, PWC members had the opportunity to network and learn from over 1,000 professionals in the industry through panels, workshops, committee meetings, and other events. Members also had the opportunity to attend events in other PWC chapters, located in Boston, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and New Jersey. The New York chapters plans to continue to expand member benefits in 2020 through additional committee programming and events. It is thanks to the dedication of PWC members and sponsors that make this growth possible.
