The affordable housing lottery has launched for 325 Gates Avenue, a six-story mixed-use building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by ND Architecture and Design and developed by Renaissance Realty Group, the structure yields 48 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 15 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $72,138 to $198,250.
Units come with hardwood floors throughout, stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher, granite counter tops, recessed lights, exposed brick, air conditioning, and closet space. Tenants are responsible for electricity and gas.
At 130 percent of the AMI, there are five studios with a monthly rent ranging from $2,104 to $2,259 for incomes ranging from $72,138 to $146,900; five one-bedrooms with a monthly rent ranging from $2,247 to $2,425 for incomes ranging from $77,048 to $165,230; and five two-bedrooms with a monthly rent ranging from $2,692 to $2,926 for incomes ranging from $92,298 to $198,250.
