The Eliza will replace the old Inwood Library which was demolished in May, with affordable housing, a pre-kindergarten school and an updated library. The development is located at 4790 Broadway and will contain 174 affordable housing units along with a community facility center.

The project will be a 20,000 square foot building which is expected to finish towards the end of 2023. It will be led by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, The New York City Housing Development Corporation, and The New York Public Library.
