64-unit senior affordable housing development debuts in Williamsburg

The eight-story, approximately 55,000-square-foot building includes 64 apartments - 63 of which are reserved for lower-income seniors.

According to Greenpointers, the apartments will be reserved for persons aged 62 and older earning up to 50 percent of the area median income - or $53,700 annually for a family of three.

Aufgang Architects designed the project, which includes a mix of studio and one-bedroom apartments, in addition to amenities such as a recreation area on the second floor and 6,600 square feet of ground-floor commercial space.
