The Urban League of Essex County (ULEC) was founded by New Jersey's first black social worker in 1917.  Our mission is to help underserved community stakeholders achieve social and economic advancement. We offer programs and services in education, career readiness, housing, and economic development that continue to empower communities and change lives. ULEC is proud to introduce its Women in Construction pre-apprentice graduates at NY Build 2024!
