)
The Northeast Small Business Transportation Resource Center (USDOT SBTRC) serves as a vital hub for transportation-related small businesses across seven states: New York, Connecticut, Vermont, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, and Massachusetts. As part of the U.S. Department of Transportation's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) network, we provide comprehensive support to help small and disadvantaged businesses compete effectively for federal transportation contracts. Our center offers free services including business coaching, technical workshops, market research, and procurement assistance. We specialize in facilitating connections between prime contractors and subcontractors while administering key programs such as the Bonding Education Program (BEP), Mentor Protégé Program and the Women and Girls in Transportation Initiative (WITI). Through our strategic partnerships and industry expertise, we're committed to building capacity and creating opportunities for small businesses, including Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSBs), Veteran-Owned Businesses (VOBs), and HUBZone certified companies across the Northeast region.
