Mafe Alizo, Regional MWDBE Manager - Structure Tone LLC
Mafe Alizo is the North-East Regional Manager for Structure Tone's MWDBE Program.
Prior to joining structure Tone, Mafe was in Venezuela where she was born and raised. Graduated with honors from Architectural School and ran her own practice of Design-Build before the economic crisis in her home country forced her to exile to the US.
Her experience in architecture and construction management as a woman and now as a minority in a foreign country has allowed her to see the opportunities that lay in front of anyone willing to reach out to them. Being a voice for minorities is her way of giving back what was given to her – becoming a bridge of opportunities for those willing to put in the work.
With the goal of delivering strategic innovation in planning and implementation for process improvement, business goals and objectives related to expanding supplier diversity as well as providing education for a change in culture and diversity of thought.
Mafe is also an active participant in several organizations such as, PWC - Professional Women in Construction, the National Association of Minority contractors (NAMC), United Way - Women's United group and Structure Tones Women in Construction group (STOWIC).
