Vivian Lee - Woods Bagot
Vivian Lee is a recognized leader with more than thirty years of international experience.
She has designed projects across scales and building types — each with distinctive cultural
contexts, programs, and unique sustainable design solutions throughout Europe, Asia, and
the US — including commercial office towers, hotels, airports, universities, workplace, and
residential sectors.
Vivian’s influence extends well beyond her projects as she was recently elevated to the
College of Fellows by the American Institute of Architects. Her belief in the power of design
to improve lives, commitment to nurturing a culture of engagement and collaboration, and
dedication to developing women architects, makes her a strong and diverse leader for the
New York Studio.
Prior to joining Woods Bagot, Vivian was Design Principal at Richard Meier & Partners. Her
notable projects include the Oaks Frontline Apartments & Villas in the Czech Republic, the
Taichung Condominium Tower in Taiwan, and the 101 Market Street Hotel & Residential
Tower in Newark, New Jersey. In addition, she worked on the recently completed SoMA
Master Plan and Teachers Village Charter Schools and Workforce Housing in Newark, New
Jersey; the OCT Clubhouse in Shenzhen, China; and Italcementi i.lab in Bergamo, Italy.
