“We are proud of Jim’s incredible career. He harnesses his experiences to better serve our community, our clients, our colleagues, and our firm. He’s not just a construction icon he’s also a hero,” said Anthony C. Ferruccio, PE, Gannett Fleming senior vice president and director of construction services.
In 2017, Jim retired from the Army National Guard after 33 years of service. He attained the rank of brigadier general before his retirement. During his tenure, Jim led the 192nd Engineer Battalion as part of the “surge” in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. From 2006-2007, he oversaw all counter-improvised explosive device missions and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service.
