Rich Steimel - Lendlease
Rich Steimel has over 35 years of construction management experience in the New York metropolitan healthcare industry. Having started with Lendlease in 1994, Rich is currently a Senior Vice President and Principal-in-Charge of Lendlease’s New York office healthcare group. He spent his first nine years in the industry with Morse Diesel in their healthcare division.
Rich has led all of Lendlease’s construction work with Northwell Health over the firm’s 20-year relationship with the hospital system. He has also led major projects at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital spanning the past 30 years, Blythedale Children’s Hospital, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York University Langone Medical Center and Memorial Sloane Kettering.
Rich is the former co-chair of the New York Building Congress Healthcare Committee, an ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and also holds a Healthcare Infection Control Certificate. He is actively involved with Lendlease’s internship program and is currently focusing on business development. Rich has a Bachelor of Business Administration from New York Institute of Technology. He is married with young adult children and resides in New Jersey.
