Diana Allegretti - Cornell Tech
Diana has over two decades of experience in higher education planning, design and construction. Since 2013 she oversaw Phase I development for Cornell Tech’s 900,000 sq ft graduate education and research campus in NYC on Roosevelt Island. The academic, incubator, executive education and residential buildings were built for entrepreneurial tech innovation. The energy efficient campus utilizes green technologies such as rooftop photovoltaic (PV) arrays, earth source heat /cool systems, passive house, rainwater harvesting and various green infrastructures on site.
Prior to Cornell she was a Sr. Capital Project Advisor at Jonathan Rose Companies, where she established a multimillion dollar Campus Transformation Plan for NYU-Poly. Prior to that she served as the Assoc. Director of Capital Renewal at Columbia University’s Planning, Design and Construction Department working on both the 6M+ sq ft main campus and early planning phases of Columbia’s 6M sq ft Manhattanville campus.
Diana is a Registered Architect, a LEED AP, holds a MS Degree in Real Estate Development from Columbia University’s GSAPP and a B. of Architecture degree from NYIT. She is a past appointed Planning Board member in Westchester County and currently co-chairs the Education, Arts & Cultural subcommittee for the NY Building Congress.
