Green Energy Times (G.E.T.) is pleased to be one of the media partners for New York Build 2017.

G.E.T. has a mission to motivate everyone, including businesses, municipalities, communities, organizations, and individuals, to be able to make educated measures to reduce their carbon footprints and to be responsible for our sustainability and energy independence. G.E.T believes the need to accomplish these things is urgent, both to stop climate change and to provide for the health and well-being of both the environment and all people. While education is one element of accomplishing these ends, another is by being living examples for others to follow. As such, G.E.T is completely designed using a solar, off-grid system, is printed locally on paper with a high recycle content, and uses eco-friendly water-based ink.

G.E.T. is a bi-monthly publication. It covers the whole gamut of sustainability including sections focused on transportation, renewable energy, heating and cooling, building efficiency, energy efficiency, sustainable agriculture, sustainable education, climate change, business and financial, green life, energy news updates, book reviews, and incentives offered for sustainable projects.

G.E.T. has a readership nearing 150,000 in 90% of VT, 85% of NH and regions of MA, NY, and Portland, ME. G.E.T also has a website brining daily energy news updates to its reader. G.E.T is offered free of charge at local grocery stores, restaurants, lumber yards, gas stations, etc. It is also available at many of the sustainable events in the northeast. This is all made possible through the support of sponsors and advertisers. G.E.T. also has a subscription base that reaches outside these boundaries.
